How It Works (and Why It’s Better)

The Pomodoro Technique is a simple focus method: you work in short, timed sessions and take quick breaks in between. It’s more effective than a regular timer because it builds rest into your workflow, keeps you energized, and helps you avoid burnout.

Quick Start

  1. Pick a task you want to focus on.
  2. Hit Start and stay focused until time is up.
  3. Take a short break when the timer ends.
  4. After four Pomodoros, enjoy a longer break.

Make It Yours

Open Settings to customize the Pomodoro length, short break, and long break times. You can also turn sound alerts on or off. The session counter helps you track when the long break is due.
